Manisha Koirala tied the knot with Samrat Dahal- A Nepali Businessman. The wedding was held traditionally in Kathmandu on 19th June 2010. However, two years later in 2012, the couple parted ways. It was the same year when the actor was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
She blamed herself for her failed and short-lived marriage. She realised lately that she wasn't ready for this and it was her fault to hurry up. Also in real life, she is not eager to get back into a relationship. She is more content with work and her life and about enjoying it to the fullest.
Manisha Koirala's Thoughts About Motherhood
In an interview, Manisha Koirala shared her thoughts about motherhood. Raising a child is what she would love to do but at the same time as a single mother, she lacks confidence. Knowing the responsibilities, she stated that the day she will get confidence, she will surely give it a chance.
However, due to her health background- Advanced ovarian cancer, she had sacrificed it all and focused on enjoying life more. She is actively involved in social work especially in promoting women's rights, preventing violence against women, prevention of human trafficking of Nepal girls in the field of prostitution and such.
